Schema Generator
Generate JSON-LD structured data for Article, Product, FAQ and more
About Schema Generator
Generates JSON-LD structured data for five schema.org types: Article, Product, FAQPage, Organization and BreadcrumbList. Each type has its own form, such as price, currency, availability and rating for Product or repeatable question-and-answer pairs for FAQPage, and most empty fields are dropped from the output. The result is wrapped in a JSON-LD script tag and updates as you fill in the form.

Frequently asked questions
What is structured data / JSON-LD?
▾
Machine-readable metadata embedded in web pages that helps search engines understand content. JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is Google's preferred format, added via a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag.
Does structured data improve rankings?
▾
Not directly. It makes pages eligible for rich results such as product prices and ratings or breadcrumb trails, which can improve click-through rate, but Google decides when to show them. FAQ rich results in particular have been limited since 2023 to a small set of authoritative government and health sites.
Which schema types can this generator create?
▾
Five: Article, Product (with an Offer and an optional AggregateRating), FAQPage, Organization and BreadcrumbList, whose items are numbered automatically. For other types such as LocalBusiness, Event or Recipe, start from one of these outputs and edit the JSON by hand.
How do I add and test the generated markup?
▾
Paste the script tag into the page's HTML, in the head or body, then run the URL or code through Google's Rich Results Test or the Schema Markup Validator. The generator doesn't check required or recommended properties, so fix any warnings those tools report.
