Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2025
This page explains what cookies BruceDevTools uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Consent & Analytics
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager only activate after you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics or advertising data is collected. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
First-Party Storage
We store a single key in your browser's localStorage (`cookie-consent`) to remember your consent choice. No expiry date — it persists until you clear your browser data.
Third-Party Cookies
When cookies are accepted, the following third-party services may set cookies:
- Google Analytics — Collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration). IP addresses are anonymized.
- Google Tag Manager — Manages analytics and advertising tags. Does not collect data itself.
- Google AdSense — Displays ads. May use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history.
- Cloudflare — Used for performance and security. May set a session cookie.
Managing Cookies
You can decline cookies via the banner or clear your browser's localStorage at any time. You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
